EARLY YEARS
Roots in Abohar
Shudh Parkash Singh was born and raised in the small town of Abohar in Punjab. A fun-loving, charming boy, He was popularly elected President of the Students Council at what is now Chandigarh College of Engineering. Even when relatives labeled me a failure in studies, inside I was beaming with confidence — He certainly didn't want to be a loser in life.

Chasing the American Dream
As a young man with a creative mind, I wished to explore new beginnings. Instead of Bombay, destiny brought me to America. I still remember the ache of leaving my loving mother and family behind — but I knew one day I'd make the American Dream come true.
BUILDING JGROUP
The Serial Entrepreneur
Sometimes working 48 hours straight between small jobs, and years later starting 30 new companies while working seven days a week — it was an arduous road filled with struggles. Today, I am the CEO of JGroup, engaged primarily in commercial real estate in the U.S. and India, in addition to owning gas stations and restaurants in Manhattan and Long Island.

I am also an Executive Partner of Navika Capital Group, which owns and operates hotels with all major brands like Marriott and Hilton across America.
PUBLIC LEADERSHIP
Serving the Community
Shudh was the first and only Indian American ever accorded an hour-long summit meeting with the Honorable Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and National Security Advisor of India together in New York. In 2004, I created the "Chalo Punjab" slogan, motivating NRIs to campaign in Punjab — the first time in history a plane load of NRIs went to India to campaign.
THE KSJ FOUNDATION
Giving Back
I founded the Kundan & Santosh Jasuja Foundation, named after my respected parents and entirely self-funded. The Foundation serves fresh meals to the homeless in New York, funds scholarships for underprivileged students in India, and inaugurated the Mata Santosh Free Medical Dispensary in Abohar, which has treated more than 10,000 patients. We don't accept funds from anyone.
