A Historic Achievement

America's First South Asian Shopping Center

One of JGroup's most significant achievements, Shudh Singh developed Kundan Mall — the first South Asian ethnic shopping center in America. Located in Hicksville, Long Island, the mall opened in the early 2000s and quickly became a cultural and commercial institution for the South Asian community of the New York metropolitan area.

Home to a diverse mix of South Asian restaurants, fashion retailers, jewelry stores, and professional services — Kundan Mall earned national media recognition from Newsday, Stardust Magazine, Radio Zindagi, and JusPunjabi. It remains one of the most recognized South Asian retail destinations in the United States and continues to serve thousands of visitors across the New York community.
